The RECYVAL-NANO project, coordinated by the Lurederra Technology Center, focuses on developing a recycling process for the recovery and reuse of valuable metals and critics such as indium and yttrium waste of flat screens.

The project works on optimizing recycling techniques, as well as validation of end uses recycled metals. One of the leading and most innovative objective is to provide greater value to the recovered metal, which will be directly extracted as precursors for the production of nanoparticles of ITO, Y2O3: Eu3 + and Nd-Fe-B, with applications in transparent conductors, LEDs and magnets. EXKAL participate as an end user of LEDs developed based on nanoparticles evaluating and testing new products developed.
